On Thursday I had the pleasure of meeting Rob Griffith a singer songwriter who I met through Comrie Soundlab. He had agreed to create a melody for Shetland Lass returns and he wanted me to hear it in person. It was an emotional moment, something about someone singing your words is just a bit of magic. Anyway after lots of chat, tea and a few tears we parted with a plan for carrying Shetland Lass forward. I look forward to continuing to work with Rob and if any other musicians or vocalists would like to collaborate with me on songs I would be honoured. I have a large catalogue of lyrics ready to go.
